Our mission is to celebrate both our rich Canadian history and the diversity of the community with a FREE and inclusive event featuring multicultural performances, dance, music, fun and fireworks that is open to everyone.

This Canada Day we will be collecting non-perishable food donations to help feed people in our community through SSVP ST THERESA’S FOOD BANK.

Shifts are all filled at Western Canada's largest Canada Day Celebration!  This event is organized by a dedicated group of volunteers but we need community members to be on site July 1st for the following duties:

  • Children's Fun Zone (assisting with games & activities)

  • Site Set Up & Trash Collection

  • Information Tent

Shifts are between 3 & 4 hours and you are welcome to volunteer for more than 1 shift.  We are excited to announce that Mill Woods Co-op will be supplying a Barbecued Hot Dog meal for our volunteers with Halal and vegetarian options).
