Our mission is to celebrate both our rich Canadian history and the diversity of the community with a FREE and inclusive event featuring multicultural performances, dance, music, fun and fireworks that is open to everyone. The Mill Woods Presidents' Council has delivered the Mill Woods Canada Day Celebration with the support of sponsors and donors since 1990. Financial support ensures the event continues year after year providing free entertainment to 40,000+ people. Site Map and Road Closures 

Mill Woods Canada Day Celebration takes place in the Mill Woods Park west of the mall. 
There is no parking on site and there are the road closures to be aware of as indicated below.

7:30pm - 12:00am             66street CLOSED from 23rd Avenue to 28th Avenue
10:45pm - 12:00am           Additional closures around the park include 28th Avenue. Millwoods Road at 23rd Avenue
10:45pm - 12:00am.          66th Street at 34th Avenue closed to south bound traffic
10:45pm - 12:00am.          28th Avenue at 50th Street closed to west bound traffic
10:45pm - 12:00am.          23rd Avenue at 50th Street closed to west bound traffic.
