
MWPC is a not-for-profit, volunteer based organization that acts as a unified body of the community leagues in MillWoods, The Meadows & Ellerslie, striving to make Southeast Edmonton a safe and supportive community to live, work and play.

Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Entertainment Coordinator Assistant to help organize and execute live performances at our upcoming event. This role is ideal for someone passionate about live music, event planning, and artist relations. No prior experience is necessary—training and support will be provided by a long-time volunteer.

Key Responsibilities:

Arrange local bands and musicians to perform on the main stage within an assigned budget.

Ensure contracts are signed by all involved parties.

Communicate specific details with performers as needed.
-
Collaborate with FM studios for stage setup and sound management.

Organize and coordinate food arrangements for performers.
-
Attend seven monthly planning meetings (typically the last Monday of each month).

Be on-site on July 30th for stage setup (times TBD).

Be on-site on July 1st for event execution (times TBD).

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Interest in event planning, live entertainment, or artist coordination.

Ability to work within a budget and coordinate logistics.

Team player with a proactive attitude.

Availability to attend planning meetings and on-site event days.
Training & Support:
No prior experience? No problem! A long-time volunteer will provide training and guidance to ensure you feel confident in the role.
