Canada Day Volunteers

The Mill Woods Canada Day Celebration is western Canada's largest volunteer delivered Canada Day event, taking more than 200 volunteers to deliver. Without volunteers, this event would not exist.  There are volunteer opportunities before, during and after the event.  For more information or questions e-mail canadaday@seedmonton.ca

GENERAL LABOUR
 

General labourers are needed  to set up/tear down tents, tables & chairs, pick up garbage and additional on site duties. Shifts are 3.5 hours and up to 4 shifts are available the day of the event.

FUN ZONE
 

Volunteers are needed for  the children's activities, interact in games and face pain.  Shifts are 3.5 hours  starting at 2:15 pm to 4:15 pm. Mill Woods Co-op is our sponsor for supplying snacks and barbecued hot dogs for our volunteers.

SPONSOR ENGAGEMENT

Sponsors are as crucial as volunteers to delivering the event. Engaging local businesses and making them aware of sponsorship opportunities is key to funding the event.
